If there's one question all of us ladies have wondered about, time and again, it's this--how much cleavage is good enough to keep us safe from molestation, harassment, and even rape? After all, we have been told repeatedly that our safety is in our own hands, and definitely not in that of a creepy man with a criminal bent of mind.
Swara Bhaskar and Taapsee Pannu, on the very special occasion of International Women's Day, have come out with the perfect tutorial for you. In a nearly-four-minutes-long video, the two actresses will give you a clear idea on how to manage that ungainly cleavage--the root of all our troubles.
At the workplace, they recommend turtle-necks to keep the gaze of 'rangeen' men away. Swara even recommends that you should 'maybe strangle yourself', because that is just not the place to show off your assets. There are many pressures that you face when you're at the gym--losing weight, sweating it out. Do you need the added pressure of having to hold up your shirt as well?
No, so the ladies suggest that we go with safari neck. 'After all you're working hard on your body to cover it all up, na?' Crowded places in the evening are even more dangerous. So polo necks should be worn--whether it's summer or not is besides the point. 'You may still be pinched...but kya kar sakte hain', says Swara.
Swara Bhaskar and Taapsee Pannu delivers a strong message with a tonne of sarcasm as they tell women about 'good cleavage'.
When it comes to clubs, scarfing it up, or wrapping a shawl is the best idea. And did you imagine that after all this you could safely flaunt your cleavage, whether it's bolstered by a padded bra or naturally ample, at your own wedding? Of course not, because: 'Log kya sochenge? Sasural waale kya sochenge?'

If you still haven't got the hint, here's stating some facts. While this video has the appearance of a simple tutorial full of the stereotypes that we face every day, it is actually a strong statement on our social reality. Our cleavage is not something we have to allure the world with--we are born with it. We were made this way by nature, so why do we have to worry about what the world thinks?
As Taapsee and Swara point out, 'If you have it, flaunt it.' Our cleavage is ours only (just like the rest of our bodies), we have complete right to do whatever we want with it. On International Women's Day, these women made a declaration that we all must--'I am proud of what I am, and what I have. Are you?'
